Faith Bible Church is led and shepherded by a plurality of biblically qualified elders who serve the church in unity in order to nurture the spiritual good of the flock, all for the glory of Christ.

Jon Buck, Elder/Teaching Pastor

Jon began attending FBC in 2005. He graduated from The Master's Seminary (M.Div.) in 2012 and serves as the Teaching Pastor at FBC. Jon and his wife, Alyssa, have six children: Hannah, Katie, Sarah, Maggie, Abbie, and Emma. He enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and running.

Joe Koh, Lay Elder

Joe was a co-founder of FBC back in 2002. He serves in a variety of capacities which include leading a Care Group, teaching Sunday School, and assisting with church finances. Joe is a vice president for a commercial plumbing company. Joe and his wife, Michelle, have three children: Taylor, Kellie, and Katie. He enjoys spending time with his family, any and all sports, and is a huge Angels and Ducks fan.

Stephen Niednagel, Lay Elder

Stephen has been a part of FBC since 2009 and has been leading a Care Group since 2015. He became an elder at FBC in 2021. Stephen is a graduate of UCLA and works in the real estate industry. He and his wife Curstin have 4 children (James, Judah, Micah, and Piper). Stephen enjoys spending time with his family and doing whatever they want to do….but especially going to the beach and playing catch!

Deacons

At FBC, biblically qualified deacons serve under the oversight of the elders to free them up (for their teaching and shepherding responsibilities) in a variety of helpful areas.

Greg Anderson

Greg began attending FBC when it was first began in 2002. He helps with ushering and with the offering. Greg and his wife Anna have three adult children and one high school student.

Charles Bowman

Charles began attending FBC in 2013. He helps coordinate the FBC greeting ministry. Charles and his wife Judy have two sons, Jerome and Heath, and four grandchildren.

Enoch Kim

Enoch began attending FBC in 2010. He serves as a worship leader at FBC. Enoch and his wife, Kaitlyn, have three children: Karis, Christopher, and Faith. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing the guitar, and anything related basketball.

Staff

John Austin, Pastoral Intern

John serves as one of Faith Bible Church’s Interns. John and his wife, Luisa, are originally from Northern California and moved to Orange County where they joined Faith Bible Church. John is currently attending Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. They have thee sons, Arthur, Hezekiah and Jethro.

Gus Pidal, Associate

Gus graduated from the Master’s Seminary in 2009, and he and Melissa spent 11 years as missionaries in León, Spain where Gus served as the Dean of Students and professor of the Seminario Berea, associated with TMAI. While in Spain, he served as associate pastor of the Iglesia Evangélica de León, and Melissa served teaching in the women’s ministry. They have three boys, Cael, Coen, and Cian, and enjoy music, walking, and having tons of fun as a family.

Kevin VanTongeren, Youth Ministry Intern

Kevin serves as an intern at Faith Bible Church and leads our student ministries. He and his wife, Madison, moved to Orange County in 2019 to join Faith Bible Church. They have three children. Kevin also graduated from The Master’s Seminary.
