As one of the Children's Ministry programs at FBC, AWANA is designed to give children a foundation in the word of God. AWANA stands for Approved Workers Are Not Ashamed. This is taken from 2 Timothy 2:15; Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth. We partner with parents/guardians to help children memorize Scripture. Our program provides encouragement and accountability as kids meet bimonthly to recite the verses they have been memorizing at home, hear gospel-centered teaching, sing to the Lord, play games, and have fun! Our hope and prayer is that the biblical foundation laid in these early years will be used by God to produce saving faith in the lives of each and every child at FBC. AWANA classes are open to all children age 2 through 6th grade.

Our AWANA program meets on various Sundays during the school year from 5:00PM - 6:30PM.

Our AWANA program costs are as follows:

Puggles (age 2 by September 1st): $30 per student for the year
Cubbies (ages 3-4): $55 per student for the year
Sparks (grades K-2): $55 per student for the year
T&T (Truth & Training for grades 3-6): $60 per student for the year

We offer a discount for families with 3 or more kids in AWANA. This discount is $10 per child in T&T, Sparks, and Cubbies and $5 per child in Puggles.
